Plasma cholesterol levels in 2- and 4-mo-old wild-type (WT) and Scarb1 null male mice. Total, high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-associated and low-density lipoprotein (LDL)/very low density lipoprotein (VLDL)-associated cholesterol fractions from plasma were quantified with the BioAssay Systems Enzychrom HDL, LDL/VLDL cholesterol kit.
