After a set of 10 or 25 associations has been learned, training resumes for the purpose of storing 1 new association alongside the previous ones. Plots show how error is eliminated in the Step (gray), Steps (red), and Ramp (black) networks. This error is the difference between the target synaptic drive of the new pattern and its actual synaptic drive during a given training step.
