Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, and Q5 denote five QTLs with main effects; I, II, III, IV denote QTL models with or without inclusion of epistases when epistatic effects exist or do not exist, respectively; Expected stand for the true value of parameter; A, D, AE, DE are additive, dominance and their interaction effects with environment, numbers in parenthesis are their corresponding standard deviation of estimates. Power is probability of identifying QTLs in 200 simulations. Size of mapping population was 300, consisting of 150 lines of DH×P1 and 150 lines of DH×P2.
