AMPK activation mediates the inhibitory effects of vaspin on TNFα-induced adhesion of monocytes to HAECs. The effect of vaspin on TNFα-induced adhesion of monocytes to HAECs was measured by staining with VibrantDiO® Cell-Labeling Solution at 4 hr after treatment with 100 ng/mL vaspin in the presence of absence of 10 ng/mL TNFα. HAECs were transfected with control siRNA (A) or AMPKα1 siRNA (B) 24 hr before.
