Exponentially growing cells (12 h, OD₆₀₀=0.5) in YPD medium were exposed to KPi (control, grey bars) or challenged with 0.2–2 mM H₂O₂ (green bars) for 1.5 h at 30 °C and 225 rpm. Catalase activity and cell viability were measured as described under Materials and methods and results are the average viability ±SD for three independent cultures (n=3).
