Thapsigargin disrupts actin cytoskeletal proteins in A549 cells. The reductions of protein levels of p-Cofilin-1 (Ser3) and p-Paxillin (Tyr118) by thapsigargin treatment (1 μM for 6 and 24 h) in A549 cells were shown by Western blots (a) and histograms (b). Notes showed that the protein level of total Cofilin-1 is not affected by thapsigargin treatment. Results are averages of four independent experiments.
