Repetitive hypoxic preconditioning treatment specifically induces an immunosuppressive regulatory B-cell population prior to central nervous system injury. Ex vivo regulatory B-cell levels from repetitive hypoxic preconditioning (RHP)-treated mice relative to untreated (21 %) cohorts. B10 (CD1d^hiCD5⁺), B1a (CD1d⁺CD5⁺) and conventional B2 (CD1d^lowCD5^-) subpopulations were quantified within splenic CD19⁺ B-cells populations.
