Differential cytotoxic effect of ENLE on MCF-7, HeLa, and lymphocytes. (a, b) MCF-7 and HeLa cells treated with ENLE at varying concentrations (10–500 μg/mL), resulting in dose- and time-dependent growth inhibition. The EC50 for MCF-7 and HeLa cells was found to be 350 μg/mL at 72 h and 175 μg/mL at 48 h, respectively. However, lymphocytes did not show significant growth inhibition when treated with similar concentrations of ENLE for 24 h (c). Values are means + SD of three independent experiments. Each value with ENLE treatment differs from the control value (P < 0.05).
