Table 1.
The optimal exogenous concentrations and improvement factors for simple background experiment averaged over four replicates. The optimal exogenous concentration is close to LODorig. On average, the optimal exogenous concentration is 1.26 LODorig over all three peptides in CHCA matrix, which is lower than the optimal exogenous concentration of 1.58 LODorig for DHB matrix. Additionally, CHCA yields a higher predicted optimal improvement factor compared to DHB matrix.
