Dose-dependent induction of membrane damage to MCF-7 cells after nickel nanoparticle (Ni NP) exposure. (A) Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) leakage.^a (B) A significant negative correlation between the cell viability (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide [MTT] assay) and membrane damage (LDH leakage) after 24 hours’ exposure to 0, 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 μg/mL of Ni NPs.
