Effect of P2Y1, P2Y12 antagonists and ASA on primary platelet adhesion to collagen and secondary platelet aggregation due to ADP and thromboxane autocrine signaling. COX-1 inhibitor ASA reduced secondary aggregation between 150 and 300 s without an effect on primary platelet deposition to collagen from 60 to 150 s. 2MeSAMP and MRS 2179 reduced primary deposition between 60 and 105 s and secondary platelet aggregation between 105 and 300 s. Time intervals marked are indicators for RCOX and RP2Y, 60 - 150 sec & 150 sec - 300 sec and 60 - 105 sec & 105 sec - 300 sec respectively. X-axis is not to scale.
