The table compares boy-girl differences in anthropometrics in India and in all other developing countries in which DHS collected children’s anthropometric data. Panel A includes data from 58 countries for a total of 141 surveys (excluding the 2 other Indian surveys). Panel B includes data from 30 countries and 38 surveys. The sample is restricted to children that were the youngest in their families and were 15 months old and younger. All regressions include age dummies in months and year fixed effects (results without controls are identical and available upon request.)
