Isomerization/chlorination of primary allylic alcohols. Reactions were performed on a 1 mmol scale. trans-6 a–e were used. Yields of isolated products are shown (yields given in parentheses were determined by ¹H NMR spectroscopy with respect to 1,2,4,5-tetrachloro-3-nitrobenzene as internal standard).
