a

The denominator for all analyses was current cigarette smokers aged ≥20 years (i.e. respondents who reported that they had smoked at least 100 cigarettes during their lifetime, and smoked daily or on some days at the time of the survey).

b

Assessed in a binary logistic regression model that adjusted for all factors listed in table.

c

Quadratic trend not assessed because of a non-significant linear trend.
