Upper panel shows quantitation of all measurements (mean ± SEM for n = 10–14 (WT) and 5–9 (MS-Slc7a5-KO) mice), lower panel shows representative western blot for phospho-AMPK. 2-way ANOVA shows significant effects of both genotype (F (1, 69) = 8.07, p = 0.006) and dietary status (F (3, 69) = 43.8, p<0.0001) on AMPK phosphorylation. Statistically-significant differences between genotype are indicated (*, p<0.05). Fasted values for both genotypes are significantly different from fed values, irrespective of dietary protein content.
