HEK 293 cells stably expressing SSTR1, SSTR2, SSTR3, SSTR4 or SSTR5 were incubated with 50¹²⁵I-Tyr¹-somatostatin in the absence or presence of increasing concentrations of unlabeled ligand for 1 hour at 25°C. After washing to remove nonspecific binding, the amount of bound radioligand was quantitated in a γ-counter. Data are presented as the mean of three independent experiments. S.E. values were smaller than 15%.
