Effect of the length of 5′-overhang on k_cat and K_m of the gp6 flap endonuclease

The k_cat and K_m for the flap endonuclease were determined using substrates having different lengths of the 5′-overhang. The substrates have a common structure shown in Fig. 2B. The kinetic parameters were determined as described under “Experimental Procedures.”
