Basal expression level of p53 signal transduction pathways in ovarian cancer cells.

Notes: Western blot analysis of ovarian cancer cells was performed. The results showed that several proteins of p53 networks were differentially expressed in the Taxol-resistant cells compared to their parental Taxol-sensitive cells, suggesting that Taxol resistance selectively blocks the p53 networks and shows cell specificity. Equal loading was confirmed by immunoblotting with anti-actin antibody. Taxol (Sigma-Aldrich, St Louis, MO, USA).
