Data are the estimated percentage of damage as assessed from MR (post-surgical T1) images. L, percentage of damage to the left hemisphere; R, percentage of damage to the right hemisphere; Avg, average of L and R; W = (L × R)/100 [weighted index as defined by Hodos and Bobko (1984)]; X, group mean. Areas 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 46, cytoarchitectonic subregions of the macaque frontal lobe and Ia, agranular insular areas as defined by Carmichael and Price (1994).
