The regression analysis was made only with the bromeliad variables retained as the best model based on the Akaike Information Criterion. The R² _adj value presents the explained variation of the best model for each component regressed against bromeliad morphological variables. Thus, the repeated R² _adj value does not represent the explained variation of each variable.
