Quantitative analysis of the expressions of (A) MBP, (B) Nogo-A, (C) GAP-43, (D) NF-H, (E) PLP, and (F) AQP-4 in the splenium of the corpus callosum. A significant decrease was observed in the markers for oligodendrocytes (A & B). A significant increase was observed in GAP-43, a marker of neuronal plasticity. A trend towards statistically significant increase in NF-H was also determined. No significant difference was observed in PLP, and AQP-4 (F). Error bars represent standard deviation.
