Cells were treated with resveratrol or serum-free medium (con) for 24 h. Activation of p53 through phosphorylation at serine residue 15 and cleavage of caspase-3 in A) HepG2 cells, B) Hep3B cells and C) primary human hepatocytes were analysed by Western Blot. GAPDH was used as loading control. One representative blot out of at least 3 independent experiments is shown.
