Representative images of GFBL and breast SFBL 3D cultures seven days post-seeding as assessed by phase contrast microscopy, β-actin and β-tubulin immunostaining and DAPI nuclear staining. GFBLs adopted a more elongated shape of the cell body and nucleus, whereas SFBLs were wider in morphology. Cells In GFBL cultures were arranged parallel to each another, while they were more randomly distributed in SFBL cultures. Magnification bars: 50 µm (main figure); 10 µm (insert).
