Hexachlorophene does not inhibit L1 mediated neurite outgrowth. Cerebellar granule neurons are prepared as in Figure 1. Additions to the media are 25 mM ethanol (L1+E), 1% DMSO (L1+D), or 1% DMSO with 1mM hexachlorophene (L1+D+HEX).
