Hepatocytes of +/Dsk5 mice have larger nuclei, larger cell volumes, and fewer binucleate cells. Note that the nuclei of the +/Dsk5 hepatocytes were larger and darker, and their cell diameters were larger than the +/+ hepatocytes. However, the latter had more binucleate cells.
