Mice were injected with vehicle or Alda-1 (50 mg/kg, i.p.) 30 min before gavage of saline or ethanol (6 g/kg), and blood and livers were collected 6 h later for hepatic ATP (A), serum ALT (B) and TUNEL (C) measurement.
