Different migration assays using the D54MG and 86HG39 glioblastoma cell lines with ROCK inhibitor Y27632 and ROCK1/ROCK2 knockdown. In a coated radial monolayer migration assay, the cells displayed a reduction in cell migration when treated with the ROCK inhibitor Y27632 (a). Cells with a stable ROCK1 knockdown exhibited enhanced cell migration using a wound-healing assay on an uncoated surface (b), but a significant decrease in cell migration using a radial monolayer assay on a laminin-coated surface (d). Glioma cell lines with a stable ROCK2 knockdown exhibited an increase in migration on both the uncoated surface (c) and the laminin-coated surface (e) (*p < 0.05; **p < 0.001, n = 3, mean ± SEM)
