B, Cumulative probability plots of LFP intervals in control, GAD67 KO, and control + picrotoxin slices. Control slices show a single distribution of interevent intervals, whereas both GAD67 KO and picrotoxin slices show the appearance of a second, short-interval population corresponding to rapid bursts of events that give rise to single waves as detected by calcium imaging.
