FTIR spectra of AlPc, PVM/MA, fresh AlPc-NPs, and AlPc-NPs exposed to water for 6 hours.

Notes: The appearance of carboxyl bands, at 1,362 cm⁻¹ and 1,733 cm⁻¹, and the decrease in the intensity of anhydride bands, at 1,770 cm⁻¹ and 1,842 cm⁻¹, shows that the anhydride groups of PVM/MA are hydrolyzed when AlPc-NPs are exposed to water.
