A: The recording shows the highest concentration of TNF-α (1000 ng/ml) applied. In wt-J mice it resulted in an increase of the CBF becoming significant between minute 48 and minute 60 compared to TNF-R1−/− mice using Mann Whitney U-test (p<0.05, Mean ± S.E.M.). B: The dose dependency of TNF-α induced increase in CBF in wt-J mice became significant between minute 60 and minute 120 (p<0.05). This significant difference can not be provoked, when TNF-α is applied at TNF-R1−/− tracheae (p>0.05, Mann Whitney U-test. Mean ± S.E.M., n = 40 cells from 4 tracheae out of 4 animals).
