The predicted proportion of correct responses of the PBS and PBSr models averaged across subjects and orientation classes plotted as a function of match and distractor orientation relative to the target. The across-subjects averages of the human data for each condition are replotted with each model prediction for comparison. The PBS and PBSr model predictions assume use of only the most salient region of the images in Condition 1 and the entire image in Condition 2.
