KG1a cells do not undergo differentiation in the presence of DHA. Flow cytometric analysis of KG1a cells using monoclonal antibodies against CD11b, CD13, CD33 and CD34 showed that culture of KG1a cells with 150 μM DHA for four days did not induce differentiation of these cells.
