(A) The ALCS points (black glyphs) are projected onto the plane (BMO reference plane) of a BMO B-spline (red circle line) best fitted to the BMO delineations. (B) The BMO B-spline is scaled into the unit circle space and subdivided into 72 sectors of equal area. (C) Sectors where 2 or more ALCS-delineated points are present in each volume are maintained for analysis. Sectors where there are fewer than 2 delineated points (black glyphs highlighted by red arrows) in each volume are filtered out of the analysis. (D) The circle is transformed back to its original space, with the filtered ALCS points removed.
