Flow cytometric analysis for MARC-nsp11 cells. A total of 1 × 106 MARC-145 or MARC-nsp11 cells were seeded in 60 mm-diameter dishes and cultivated for 24 h. Cells were gently harvested by trypsinization and fixed with cold ethanol. Cells were stained with 10 μg/mL of propidium iodide (PI) and subjected to flow cytometry. Shown is the PI trace (red areas) indicating the proportion of cells with the 2N and 4N DNA contents. The red areas present relative percentages.
