Purified B cells were cultured for 72 hr (a) in the presence of exogenous cytokines without stimulation or (b) stimulated with 10 μg/ml of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in the absence or in the presence of cytokines and the concentrations of IL-10 in the supernatants were determined by ELISA. Each bar represents the mean ± SD from five independent determinations.
