Expression dynamics of differentially expressed transcripts between winged and wingless A. gossypii. Fold Change represents the log2 of the ratio of gene expression level in winged in relation to wingless adult females. Transcript expressed at a constant level (ratio of 1) has a log2 (ratio) of zero, which can be interpreted as "equally expressed among winged and wingless aphids". Positive number represents highly expressed transcripts in winged adult females. Negative number represents highly expressed transcripts in wingless adult females.
