Salidroside decreases phospho-p38 protein expression in A549 cells. (A) Protein expression of phospho-p38 MAPK in A549 cells. A549 cells were pretreated with VC (100 μM) for 1 h and were then incubated with salidroside (10 μg/ml) for 24 h. Whole cell extracts were immunoblotted with the antibody against phospho-p38 and β-actin served as loading control. One representative image is shown from three independent experiments. (B) The density of each band was converted into a grayscale value and normalized to that of the internal control, β-actin. Data are presented as the mean ± SD. Phospho-p38 protein expression was significantly decreased in the salidroside group compared with the control group.
