Human platelet-rich plasma was normalized to a platelet count of 250,000/μL with platelet-poor plasma obtained by differential centrifugation. Samples were treated with 3 μM 23 or DMSO vehicle for 1 h at room temperature prior to stimulation with 1 μg/mL type I equine fibrillar collagen and assessment of aggregation and ATP release using an aggregometer.
