The decline of extracellular FBPase, MDH2, Icl1p, Pck1p, GAPDH, and Cpr1p in response to glucose re-feeding is dependent on END3. A, wild-type cells were starved of glucose for 3 days and transferred to media containing 2% glucose for 0, 15, and 30 min. The distribution of FBPase, MDH2, Icl1p, Pck1p, GAPDH, and Cpr1p in the intracellular (I) and extracellular (E) fractions was examined by Western blotting. B, The Δend3 cells were starved of glucose for 3 days and transferred to media containing glucose for 0, 15, and 30 min. The distribution of FBPase, MDH2, Icl1p, Pck1p, GAPDH, and Cpr1p in the intracellular (I) and extracellular (E) fractions was determined. Representative results from 3 experiments are shown.
