Met-22	Indications for radiotherapy
Grade of recommendation A	Radiotherapy should be used for local therapy in patients with symptomatic bone metastases, or those posing a risk of fracture. The following constitute indications for radiotherapy: local pain symptoms risk to stability (if necessary in combination with surgical stabilization) impairment of mobility and/or function, in particular neurological symptoms (spinal cord compression is an emergency) pathological fractures that cannot be surgically treated postoperatively following the surgical treatment of bone metastases if R0 resection was not possible
