Amino acid alignment of Tra-2 proteins of insect species from Diptera (D. melanogaster-NP_476764.1, M. domestica-AAW34233.1, C. capitata-ACC68674.1, and L. cuprina-ACS34688.1), Hymenoptera (A. mellifera-AFJ15561.1), Lepidoptera (B. mori-NP_001119708.1), and Coleoptera (T. castaneum). RRM (RBD) domain (yellow shaded) but not the flanking regions showed amino acid similarity among proteins compared. Conserved amino acid sequences (ribonucleoprotein 1, RNP1 and ribonucleoprotein 1, RNP2) shown in the boxes with dotted lines are the characteristic features of RRM domain.
