Sera and stools from IBS patients and healthy volunteers were evaluated for CXCL16 concentration using quantitative ELISA (R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN). Mann Whitney test showed significant difference between the medians of the healthy volunteers versus ID-IBS (P<0.0001) and PI-IBS (P<0.0001). The medians of ID-IBS versus PI-IBS were not significantly different (Pā€Š=ā€Š0.6219). Error bars indicate median values with range.
