Model-averaged predictions for the number of visits made by female or male ruby-throated hummingbird competitors (NVC) in Cleveland County, Quebec (Canada), 2007–2009, in relation to the spatial concentration of focal female and the number of female or male competitors. Predictions are derived from linear mixed models with feeder ID and the intercept and slope of spatial concentration for focal individual ID as random effects. The response variable was log-transformed. Other numeric variables were fixed to their mean value, and factors were fixed to their reference level.
