Samples were obtained from mice subjected to restraint (3 h- duration) and treatment with prazosin and yohimbine followed by exposure to restraint stress. To ascertain the comparison is based on equal protein loading, these samples were also probed with anti-actin antibody. Each lane represents a sample from an individual animal (A).The bands were quantified by densitometry and normalized to actin intensity, and the relative expressions of cleaved caspase 3 (B), 9 (C), and Bax/Bcl-2 ratio (D) are shown, respectively. Data are representative of two independent experiments with similar results. ** p<0.01 compared with control animals. RS: restraint stress.
