i⁶A and its analogs inhibited growth of MCF7 human breast adenocarcinoma cells. MCF7 cells were treated with a single dose of 10 μM i⁶A, allyl⁶A, benzyl⁶A or butyl⁶A in culture medium or left untreated for 4 days. Cell growth was measured with the AlamarBlue^® assay and expressed as relative fluorescence units (RFU) at day 4 normalized to that at day 0.
