The black and gray dashed lines indicate 95% CI’s about the mean Δpd for all ages combined under binocular and monocular conditions, respectively. The pupil diameter of 3 to 9-month-old infants, 2 to 4-yr-old children and adults changed equally with viewing distance in the two eyes (within 0.2 mm of each other), for both viewing conditions.
