Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. B-D: THP-1 cells were incubated with CWE in the presence of PMA for 48 h. Total RNA was extracted and mRNA expression was analyzed using real-time PCR. Each gene was normalized with actin. Data are presented as mean ± SD of three independent experiments. * p <0.05, indicating significant difference from cells treated with PMA only.
