SEM micrographs of the (Bi,Sb)_{2 -x}Te_{3 +x}-based nanowires under different magnification ratio. (a) 1,000; (b) 50,000; and (c) 100,000. The bias voltage was set at -0.4 V, t_on/t_off was 0.2/0.6 s, and the electrolyte formula was 0.015 M Bi(NO₃)₃-5H₂O, 0.005 M SbCl₃, and 0.0075 M TeCl₄.
