(upper row) In vivo imaging results. Correlated to the MRI data, significantly more fluorescence signals were observed in tumors that were attached with a magnet. (bottom row) Ex vivo imaging with dissected tumors. Compared to the controls, 6.4 times higher accumulation of diatoms was observed in the tumors that had been attached with a magnet during the process.
