Gβ2 is required for TNF-induced necroptosis in L929 cells. (A) The mRNA expression levels of Gβ family members in L929 cells were measured by absolute quantification RT-PCR. (B, C) L929 cells were infected with lentivirus encoding Gβ1 or Gβ2 shRNA. Knockdown efficiency and TNF-induced cell death were determined as described in Figure 1B. (D) L929 cells were pretreated with or without Gβγ complex inhibitor gallein (75 μM) for 2 h and then challenged with TNF (10 ng/ml) for 10 h.
